We’re tickled to announce the initial lineup for the 2022 festival taking place June 1-4 in Springville, IN. We’ve put together a superlative lineup that features many of the acts that were booked (and never performed) at the 2020 festival. We know this diverse lineup will appeal to bluegrass, newgrass, jamgrass and old time fans. At the center of our booking philosophy is the concept of putting together a roster of talent that is as eclectic and varied as the music of our festival namesake, John Hartford.

The initial 2022 lineup for the official 2022 John Hartford Memorial Features: Leftover Salmon, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, The Dillards, Henhouse Prowlers, Great American Taxi, Damn Tall Buildings, Chicago Farmer & the Fieldnotes, Wolfpen Branch, David Davis & The Warrior River Boys, The Lonesome Ace Stringband, The Sweet Lillies, Never Come Down, Stillhouse Junkies, Good Morning Bedlam, Phillip Steinmetz & His Sunny Tennesseans, One Way Traffic, Chain Station, New Old Cavalry, Deep Fried Pickle Project, Red Mountain Boys, & More To Be Announced. The final lineup will be announced around mid-February.

We’ve moved! The 2022 festival will take place at the Lawrence County Recreational Park conveniently located 12 miles south of Bloomington, Indiana. The new site features a large stage and audience area, a multi-unit bathroom/shower facility, several shelters, an RV park with water and electricity, and plenty of space for camping in both wooded and open fields. This park can facilitate over 200+ RVs. Although this site is home to miles and miles of motorcycle and ATV trails, they will be closed during the festival. Golf carts can be reserved in advance from Cunningham Golf Carts. Learn about our new golf cart policy and reserve your own by Clicking Here.
